Schneider on Fire, Strikes out 16 Caterpillars Tuesday, September 4th, 2029 Jason Schneider of the Belleville Bulls put on a pitching clinic today at Belleville Field as he struck out 16 Grand Forks Caterpillars in a 13-1 victory. Schneider, who is tied for 6th in the 3A in wins with 9, was simply magnificent as he held the Caterpillars to 3 hits. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," Schneider said, "but eventually my cutter really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Schneider's performance, Bulls manager Stu Young shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was pretty good out there today. He was dominating."
