Vega Hits 2 home runs in Rocks Win
Javier Vega made an impact in the 9-1 Plymouth win over Milton. Vega, who leads the PAAA in extra base hits with 50, was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Rafael Méndez was the winner. Over 8.2 innings, he allowed 1 run on 3 hits, with 5 walks and 5 strikeouts. The Rocks saw their win-loss record go to 47-53. At the same time, the Dogfish Head fell to 52-48.

Vega contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Plymouth in the top of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Vega took a fastball from Romano Martínez and stroked the home run to right. His 23rd home run of the season allowed the Rocks to leap in front, 3-1.
