Rocks Get Win, Extend Streak to 4
|
Plymouth rode a good effort from starter Luis Arreola to beat the Bakersfield Nobles at Jerome Grounds. The final score was 5-0. Arreola got the win, improving to 1-3. He allowed 7 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. Arreola allowed no earned runs. The Rocks have now won 4 straight.
Plymouth grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Ernesto Trevino delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 1-0 in favor of the Rocks.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Trevino told a Plymouth Daily reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
