|
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Ronald Anderson, the Casper Ghosts defeated the Bethesda Atoms, 7-5. Anderson went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs for the Ghosts. Casper is now 18-18.
The most important at-bat for Casper came in the top of the ninth inning, when right fielder Bob Phillips stroked a 1-1 fastball to center for a 2-run single, putting Casper up, 7-5.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Anderson.
