Phoenix right fielder Francisco García was instrumental in his team's 9-5 win over the Richardson City Thundercats. García, who is tied for 6th in the PL in stolen bases with 17, went 3-5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Hotspur. Phoenix reliever Alexander Weareorwear picked up the win to move to 6-3. Héctor Alarcon suffered the loss. Richardson City's current losing streak is now 4 games.

The most important at-bat for Phoenix came in the top of the 11th inning. With one out, Shojiro Ueda reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run, putting Phoenix up, 6-5.
