Drummers Reel Off Another Win
The Tortolita Drummers went home winners at Drummers Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Jorge Rivera. Rivera silenced the Scranton Supernovas, enabling Tortolita to grab the 6-1 win. Rivera, now 1-1, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 9, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for the Drummers.

In the bottom of the second inning, third baseman Yoshihito Saikawa came through big-time for the Drummers. With Tortolita leading 1-0, he belted a 3-run home run.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Saikawa said after the game.
