Port Royal rode a decent outing from starter Nam Yee Yong to victory over the Vermont Lake Monsters at Monster Field. The final score was 8-3. Alfredo Hernández, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. Port Royal is now 46-43.

The Disaster got a lift from left fielder Javier Martínez who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning off Santo Velazco. It was his 4th RBI of the season and put Port Royal in front, 1-0.

"Enjoyed this one," Martínez told the Port Royal Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
