Tortolita catcher Jim Burch had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Vermont Lake Monsters, 9-4. Darius Baxa picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-1. He struck out 5 in 7 innings. Eduardo Bravo finished to wrap up his 1st save.

Burch had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the first inning, when he reached on an error by the left fielder, driving in 1 run. The Drummers went on to win.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Burch told the Tortolita Daily News.

The Drummers now have a record of 27-15 with the win over Vermont.
