The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds dealt the Bloomington Longnecks a 7-1 loss at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Steve Ingram was the star on offense. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Ellenburg has now won 4 in a row.
The Fighting Dachsunds got a big at-bat from catcher Meka Knight. For the game, Knight was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Ellenburg a 2-0 lead.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Knight said.
