Dodos Stymie Pennsauken, Take 3-0 Win
|
The Hialeah Dodos picked up a win at Dodos Ballpark, knocking off the Pennsauken Flyers, 3-0. Starting pitcher Stanley Eldrige, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Flyers drop to 9-11 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2029 season.
The Dodos had to work out of trouble in the top of the seventh. The score was 3-0, Hialeah, with one out. Pennsauken, with the bases loaded, was mounting a threat. Dave Stockman dug in at the plate, but on a full count cutter, he hit into a double play.
