League Rules Gutiérrez Out 2 Games Sunday, June 4th, 2028 It was both entertaining and embarrassing to see. Little Caesars shortstop Tony Gutiérrez really got rowdy at The Pizza Oven yesterday in a game against the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles. It all started with a called third strike and ended up with Gutiérrez being ejected from the game. In between he screamed at several umpires, kicked dirt on them and made several obscene gestures. All of this is frowned upon by the league office. Today they suspended Gutiérrez for 2 games. He could not be reached today for comment. This year Gutiérrez has no home runs and a .148 batting average. |
