Playoff Bound: Athletic Club KC Academy Win Wild Card Sunday, September 17th, 2028 It wasn't the Premier AA crown that the Athletic Club KC Academy set out to win, but that didn't stop the players and coaches from celebrating their postseason berth excitedly. "All we've got to do is get hot and the next thing you know we'll be in the PL AA Championship," said center fielder Tsai Ng. "Everyone in the league knows we're capable of going on a run and can be pretty dangerous." The club's 59-42 record has guaranteed them a shot in the postseason, where they will be looking for the 2nd USPL Double A championship in franchise history. |
