Doubledays Cooper Myers Will Miss Season
Monday, July 31st, 2028
The season is finished for Cooper Myers of the Tremont Doubledays. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Doubledays starting pitcher suffered a torn back muscle while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Hamilton Coyotes. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal.
To this point in the season, Myers shows a 4-4 record, 10 starts, 62 innings, 43 strikeouts and a 5.08 ERA.
