Season Over for Alfredo Chávez in Sioux Falls Tuesday, September 12th, 2028 A blow for Alfredo Chávez today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with a fractured ankle. Chávez suffered the injury making a defensive play. Although officials from the Sioux Falls Red Pandas are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Chávez's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This season Chávez is hitting .228 with 37 hits, no home runs, 19 RBIs, scored 13 runs and played in 52 games. |
