Pérez, Herrera Receive 2-Game Suspensions Tuesday, August 22nd, 2028 New Amsterdam and Las Vegas were informed today by the league's commissioner that two of their players have been given 2-game suspensions, citing their "inappropriate actions" in the recent altercation in a game played at Dutch Master Park. For their parts in the bench-clearing episode, the Dutchmen António Pérez and the Flamingos Cris Herrera will be sitting on the sidelines and will not be permitted to participate in games until the suspensions are served. Hitting .316 to date, Pérez has 11 home runs and 35 RBIs. He has played in 68 games. For the season Herrera has logged 4 wins and 10 losses and struck out 116 batters in 121.2 innings while compiling a 3.70 ERA. |
