Laming Slaps 5 Hits Monday, July 31st, 2028 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Jayden Laming today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at The Dragon Den and paced the Dragonblood to a 8-7 win over the Athletic Club KC U-21. After his dynamite batting performance the Yellowknife first baseman told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 7 tries and put his name in the record book. Jayden Laming singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, struck out in the 11th and hit a two-run double in the 13th. So far this season Laming has gotten 42 hits in 154 at-bats for a .273 batting average with 4 home runs. His stats include 23 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has played in 46 games.
