Elías Grabs PA Top Pitcher Trophy Saturday, July 1st, 2028 When Fernando Elías takes the hill, there's a good chance for a Yellowknife victory. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 4-0 mark and a 1.30 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 34.2 innings, fanned 42, and held enemy hitters to a .205 average. That's why the Dragonblood star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the USPL Single A. To date this season, Elías has registered 10 starts, 6-1 won-lost mark, 2.15 ERA, 62.2 IP, 71 strikeouts and 12 walks. Opposing teams have hit .227 against him. |
