Quiñones Pitches Shutout Friday, September 1st, 2028 José Quiñones of Phoenix easily handled the Mt. Vernon Bulls, stopping them on 3 hits and chucking a complete-game 6-0 shutout. "He really did a job on us," said the Mt. Vernon manager. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and pretty much confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us." Quiñones said, "Everything was working for me. Throwing my breaking stuff over the plate was big."
