Outstanding Pitcher Award Goes to Highwood Hurler Sunday, September 24th, 2028 The Highwood clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Michael Machen will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2028 M3L Single A Outstanding Pitcher Award. Machen made 17 starts this year, winning 10 and losing 3. He threw 135 innings, fanned 167, allowed 92 hits and 40 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .192 average as he logged an impressive 1.20 ERA. David Buchanan of the Mancelona Torch finished second in voting, while Pleun Davidse of the Highwood Hawks finished third. |
