Tommy Jones Injured, Out for Year Thursday, August 31st, 2028 The season is apparently over for Tommy Jones. The Boston Patriots medical staff informed the club that the center fielder will be out at least 8 weeks with a sprained ankle. Jones was hurt in the game against Athletic Club KC while making a defensive play. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year Jones has hit 3 home runs and posted a .303 batting average. |
