The Grafton Middies got a strong performance from pitcher Luis Torres, who stymied the Ft. Worth offense en route to a 9-2 win at The Cattle Pen. The 6th-place Middies raised their record to 36-45.

Grafton took the lead in the top of the sixth on a big hit from Stefano Gaddi. On a first pitch fastball from Aaron Wise, Gaddi hit a 2-run triple. That made it 3-1, Middies. For the day, Gaddi was 2-5 with 2 triples, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Torres told a Grafton Today reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
