Late Rally by Blaze Seals 4th Straight Win

The South Beach Blaze beat the Yellowknife Dragonblood, 6-2, at The Dragon Den. The win was largely due to the efforts of designated hitter Omer Yurtseven, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. South Beach is 40-28 and Yellowknife, with the loss, 32-36.
The most important at-bat for South Beach came in the top of the ninth inning, when left fielder Daniel Bertrand stroked a first pitch fastball to left for a 2-run single, putting South Beach up, 3-2.
"Every win gets us closer to our ultimate goal," said Yurtseven.
