Victory Pushes Tula Record to 32-24
|
Chicago Tula starter Santiago Ramírez turned in a sterling performance against the Hogsmeade Cauldrons, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. The winning pitcher was Ramírez, now 3-3. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. Darweshi Hadiya converted his 2nd save in 2 tries.
In the bottom of the second, Syed Sarkar hit a 3-run home run for Chicago. The 1st home run of the season for the Chicago first baseman put the Tula on top, 3-0.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Chicago manager Nacho Rivero.
The Hogsmeade losing streak has now reached 5 games.
