The Hogsmeade Cauldrons trumped the Mt. Vernon Bulls, 5-3, at Ballpark of Mt. Vernon. Hogsmeade designated hitter Matt Hooper was named player of the game for his performance. He went 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Bulls, now 12-37, have lost 7 straight.
