Sánchez Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Gwinnett County in Walk-Off Win
Robin Madocks never let the Athletic Club KC U-21 find their groove. Throughout the game, Madocks relied on his bread and butter, his forkball, in pitching the Black Cats to a win. Gwinnett County reliever Ming-hoa Zhou was credited with the win, to go to 1-1. Kamisese Alohinani took the loss for Athletic Club KC. With the victory, the Black Cats record now stands at 17-16.

Víctor Sánchez was the walk-off hero for Gwinnett County. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Gwinnett County second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We did just enough to win," said Sánchez.
