Generals Walk Off with Win
The Washington Generals got a stellar performance from pitcher Marco Sledge, who handcuffed the Grim offense en route to a 3-2 win at Washington Park. At 29-17, the Generals find themselves in second place in the Silver A.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 19th. That's when Washington catcher Michael Palledorous, facing Carol van Emden, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Generals the 3-2 win.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Palledorous said.
