Revolution Defeat Caterpillars, 3-1
|
The York Revolution and Grand Forks Caterpillars played a tight game at York Park, with the hosts claiming the hard-fought win.
The York Revolution got a magnificent performance from pitcher Vicente Durango, who muffled the Grand Forks offense en route to a tight 3-1 Revolution win at York Park. Edward Ayers earned the save for York, his 16th of the year.
York took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Kasper Schuilenberg stroked a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Revolution.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Grand Forks manager Curtis Lee said following the tough loss.
With the win, York goes to 31-41, while the Caterpillars fall to 28-44.
