Castro never let Louisiana get something going. The Belleville right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Bulls to a win. Castro went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 4-3. Belleville now sits at 26-22, while Louisiana falls to 28-20.
Belleville took the lead in the top of the second on a big hit from Eric Harvey. On a first pitch fastball from John Hottinger, Harvey hit a run-scoring triple. That made it 2-1, Bulls. For the day, Harvey was 2-4 with a triple and a double.
