Mercer Island beat Chesapeake, 8-4. The win in part was due to right fielder Raúl Chávez, who nabbed player of the game honors. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The winner was Mercer Island reliever Sy-ing Tah, now 1-1. The loser was Pedro Silva. Mercer Island has an impressive 65-29 record.

In the top of the 4th, the Screaming Eagles grabbed the lead on a two-out single by Martinus Xhaka. Mercer Island at the time was trailing 4-3, but Xhaka's 2-run single off Pedro Silva put his team in front.
