Trevino Leads Braves to Win
|
The Pure Michigan Great Lakers were defeated, 6-4, by the Gryfindor Braves. Leading the charge for Gryfindor was right fielder Salvador Trevino. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Earning his 23rd save for Gryfindor was Biff Tannen. At 42-37, the Braves are currently third in the Premier AAA.
Gryfindor grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the eighth, when Trevino, who is rated as the 24th best prospect by BNN, hit a 3-run home run. His 6th home run put the Braves out in front, 6-4.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Trevino.
