In a tight contest at Milton Corner Tavern, the Milton Dogfish Head edged the Houston BC by the score of 6-3. The Milton Dogfish Head's right fielder JoJo Victory, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. The Dogfish Head are now 14-15, while the BC fall to 13-16.
Early in the game, first baseman Floyd Long had a 2-run single for Milton. It was his 13th hit of the season and put the Dogfish Head on top, 2-0.
"Enjoyed this one," Victory told the Milton Chronicle. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
