Rocks Rally to Eke Out Win
|
Getting an impressive start from Rust Cohle, Plymouth beat Houston by the score of 3-2. The win was credited to Roberto Aguirre in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Arnout Els took the loss. The 7th-place Rocks are now 12-13, the BC 10-15.
Melito Báez had the most critical at-bat for Plymouth, coming in the top of the 14th inning with one out and a runner on 2nd. Báez hit a 0-2 fastball from Arnout Els for a run-scoring single. It put Plymouth in front, 3-2.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Cohle told the Plymouth Gazette.
