Pittman Leads Thundercats to 4-2 Win over Rangers
|
In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
The Richardson City Thundercats picked up a win at Rangers Stadium, knocking off the Austin Rangers, 4-2. Starting pitcher Alec Pittman, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The 8th-place Thundercats now have a win-loss record of 35-46.
Pittman tossed 109 pitches over 7 innings to clinch the win for the Thundercats. The left-hander allowed just 2 hits, while racking up 8 strikeouts in the game.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Pittman.
