Patriots Win in Glorious Fashion
The Patriots had to overcome a good performance from Phoenix pitcher Wes Hamm to claim a 3-2 win at Dunkin Donuts Park. Hamm went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The win was credited to José Sánchez in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Mitchell Atwell took the loss. The Patriots' win now puts them at 45-31.

Terry Armstrong was the walk-off hero for Boston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Boston first baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"Every win gets us closer to our ultimate goal," said Armstrong.
