Kingston Township starter Jon Briddon pitched effectively against the Capital District Red Knights at Cloverdale Legion Park. The right-hander led his team to a 5-2 win. Briddon got the win, improving to 8-7. He allowed 8 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. Briddon allowed 2 earned runs. John Riggleman was credited with the save for Kingston Township, his 34th of the season.

Clarence Neal, who was drafted in the two round of the 2019 draft, aided the Kingston Township cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the second. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-3.

Today's win puts Kingston Township at 61-43, while Capital District falls to 53-51.
