Alloway withstood an impressive performance by Calgary designated hitter José León to defeat the Lynx, 13-4, at Lynx Stadium. León was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Alloway reliever Shi-lin Li was the winner. His record is now 4-3. Jesús Hernández took the loss. Alloway goes to 33-67, Calgary to 60-40.

Jerry Yates broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the fourth with a run-scoring ground out. It put the Halberds in front, 2-1. For the game, Yates went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Yates said.
