Drummers Lose to Disaster in Walk Off
The Disaster had to overcome a fine performance from Tortolita pitcher Ricky Jackson to grab a 2-1 win at Ballpark of Port Royal. Jackson went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Port Royal reliever Cipriano Costa was credited with the win, to go to 4-6. Ricky Jackson took the loss for Tortolita. The win puts the Disaster at 38-58, while the Drummers drop to 47-49.

Zach Lewis was the walk-off hero for Port Royal. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Port Royal second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Port Royal skipper Bobby Robinson. "I can't complain."
