"Getting ahead of the hitters is the key," said Scheving.

Port Royal Disaster starter Magnus Scheving was in fine form against the Alloway Halberds at Ballpark of Alloway, leading his team to a 8-3 win. The Disaster now own a record of 34-50.

Also contributing to the win was center fielder Bob Daugherty, who stroked a 2-run single in the top of the first for Port Royal. For the game, Daugherty was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI.

"Winning is not something we take for granted," Daugherty said.
