Theodore York added some punch to the Naperville offense, helping them outmuscle the Salt Lake City Buzz, 11-7. In the game, York, who was drafted in the three round of the 2023 draft, was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The Battlekings improved to 47-37.
Early in the game, York had a 3-run home run for Naperville. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Battlekings on top, 3-0.
In postgame remarks, York said: "To all who've been doubting my effort -- I hope they saw this game."
