Buzz Pull Back to .500 with Win over Halberds
|
Salt Lake City right-hander Brian Morris made an effective start against the Alloway Halberds at Ballpark of Alloway, leading his team to a 3-2 win. The Buzz are now 33-33, while the Halberds fall to 19-47.
Asientos, Mexico-born Alejandro Herrera came through in the clutch. In the top of the fifth, with the bases loaded and the Buzz trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run double to right to put Salt Lake City on top.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Morris said.
