The Naperville Battlekings defeated the Alloway Halberds, 10-3, in USSL Triple A action at Constellation Ballpark. Curtis Peters received player of the game honors. The 1-year veteran was 1 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Jorge Carrión closed the game out for Naperville, earning his 1st save. Naperville has now won 3 in a row.
The Battlekings took a 10-3 lead in the bottom of the eighth. That's when Peters hit a 3-run home run.
