The Tacoma Fur Traders picked up a win at Ballpark of Tacoma, knocking off the Lancaster Farmers, 5-1. Starting pitcher Dorian Roberts, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Baker Mayfield earned the save for Tacoma, his 1st of the year. Tacoma, now 4-1, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Tied up with the Farmers in the bottom of the fourth, the Fur Traders got a boost from right fielder Tim Lehman. With the bases loaded, Lehman saw a first pitch fastball from Mike Brandner and hit a 2-run double to break the stalemate and put Tacoma on top, 3-1.

In comments to the Tacoma Herald, Roberts insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
