The Tremont Doubledays and Bloomington Longnecks obliged those fans who came to Doubledays Stadium hoping for an exciting game.

Otis Brewer left his imprint on the 6-5 Tremont win against the Bloomington Longnecks. Brewer, who is tied for 5th in the 3AAA in total bases with 142, went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Mario Hurrado was credited with the save for Tremont, his 3rd of the season.

With Tremont trailing 4-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Brewer hit a cutter from Miguel Cervantes for a 2-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Doubledays ahead, 4-3.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Tremont manager Lendon Tipton.

Tremont, at 37-44, occupies 8th place in the Menard's AAA.
