Men Lose, 9-2, at The Bamboo Forest
|
Behind a solid performance from first baseman Mark Allen, the Sioux Falls Red Pandas defeated the Florida Men, 9-2. Allen was 2 for 3 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 2 runs for the Red Pandas. Even with the win, the Sioux Falls Red Pandas have a dismal 12-25 record.
Magali Lenidas, who is tied for 5th in the 3AAA in bases on balls with 28, aided the Sioux Falls cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the third. For the game, the third baseman drew 2 walks in 4 trips to the plate. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Allen told reporters after the game.
