Bolasky, Golden Cranes Too Much for Longnecks
Getting a good performance from center fielder Glyn Bolasky, the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes defeated the Bloomington Longnecks, 14-5. Bolasky was 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs for the Golden Cranes. Christian Pitts earned the save, his 1st, for the Golden Cranes. The second-place Golden Cranes are now 21-12, the Longnecks 21-12.

Also playing a key role was Carl Gore. The Santa Barbara first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, Gore went 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once.
