|
The Portland Evergreens defeated the Capital District Red Knights, 2-0, in Third League action at Capital Grounds, with Portland pitcher Jesús Medina named player of the game. Medina, now 2-2, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing no earned runs. Roberto Calderón was credited with the save for Portland, his 5th of the season.
