BC Chill Castillo's Hot Streak Tuesday, July 13th, 2027 The Asheville Highlanders lost to the San Antonio BC 4-3 today at Asheville Park, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Alejandro Castillo's 21-game hitting streak. "We felt if we could slow down Castillo, we would win the game," the BC manager explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." This year Castillo is batting .330 with 63 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 34 times and has batted in 34 runs. |
