May's SAA Top Pitcher is Sixshooters Griffin Tuesday, June 1st, 2027 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Joe Griffin, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Westwood Sixshooters reliever, 26, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .149 average and walked away with the USSL Double A Pitcher of the Month award for May. Griffin posted a 4-0 mark and a 1.65 ERA in 11 relief appearances. In 32.2 innings, he had 1 save, 22 strikeouts, and 11 walks. |
