Fur Traders Pearce August's #1 Pitcher Wednesday, September 1st, 2027 Jeff Pearce was the anchor in the Tacoma bullpen last month and snatched up the USSL Double A Pitcher of the Month honors for August. The 27-year-old is in the prime of his career and pitching like he intends to stay around baseball for quite some time to come. He threw 13.2 innings over 13 relief appearances and collected a 4-2 record with 16 strikeouts and 2 saves while etching his 2.63 ERA. This year Pearce has collected 9 saves in 44 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 6-5 won-lost mark with a 3.38 ERA and fanned 48 batters in 45.1 innings. Opponents are hitting him at a .232 clip in 2027. |
