Núñez Slams 5 Hits for Myrtle Beach Wednesday, May 12th, 2027 It was a parade of hits for Pancho Núñez of the Myrtle Beach Mermen at Tennille Grounds today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Núñez finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Mermen to a 17-1 victory. "Núñez was really good and we were really bad," groaned Nationals manager Ron Mathews. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
